Fraud represents a significant threat to organizational integrity, financial stability, and public confidence. In today’s complex regulatory and operational environments, organizations are expected not only to detect fraud but also to proactively manage fraud risks, establish effective governance structures, ensure regulatory compliance, and respond appropriately when incidents occur. Weak internal controls, limited awareness, and ineffective oversight can expose organizations to serious financial, legal, and reputational consequences.
To address these challenges, BOOST has developed this program to provide a comprehensive foundation in fraud risk, governance, compliance, prevention, and basic investigation concepts. The course introduces participants to fraud-related topics from an integrated and practical perspective, making it suitable for professionals who require a structured understanding without prior specialist knowledge.
The course focuses on viewing fraud as an organizational risk rather than isolated misconduct. Participants explore how fraud arises, why controls fail, and how governance frameworks, ethical culture, and compliance mechanisms work together to reduce exposure. The program also introduces basic fraud detection indicators and investigation principles, including evidence handling, documentation, and reporting considerations.
Through practical examples, scenario-based discussions, and structured frameworks, participants build awareness and confidence to support fraud prevention efforts, strengthen internal controls, and contribute effectively to risk management, compliance, and assurance activities.
