Course Introduction

A clean room is only one part of successful housekeeping performance. Hotels must prepare the right rooms, at the right standard, and at the right time while managing occupancy changes, departures, stayovers, staffing levels, inspections, maintenance issues, and continuous coordination with the front office. When these elements are not synchronized, room readiness delays can quickly affect arrivals, workload, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel performance.

Boost Consulting & Training has designed this course to strengthen housekeeping performance through better control of room readiness, workflow, quality, and productivity. Participants will examine room status priorities, daily workload planning, cleaning flow, inspection practices, staffing decisions, coordination with front office and maintenance, and performance measurement. The emphasis is on achieving consistent room standards while responding efficiently to real hotel operating conditions.

The main concept of this course is to turn housekeeping into a controlled room readiness operation where quality, timing, productivity, and departmental coordination work together to ensure rooms are available when guests need them.
