Course Introduction

The movement of equipment and goods across borders is a critical activity for many organizations, particularly those operating in sectors such as energy, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and large-scale projects. Import, export, and re-export processes involve complex regulatory requirements, documentation, customs procedures, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Errors or delays in these processes can result in financial losses, penalties, and operational disruption.

The Import, Export and Re-export of Equipment and Goods course is designed for professionals who are involved in international trade operations and already have basic exposure to logistics or customs activities.

Within BOOST, this program focuses on building practical understanding of how import, export, and re-export processes work in real operational environments.

The course emphasizes compliance, efficiency, and risk management throughout the trade lifecycle. Participants will explore how goods and equipment are classified, documented, cleared, and transported, as well as how temporary imports and re-exports are managed. Attention is also given to coordination with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant trade operations.

By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of international trade procedures and will be better equipped to manage import, export, and re-export activities effectively and confidently.
