Course Introduction

Process Safety & Fatigue Management for Supervisors provides supervisors and frontline leaders with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage process safety risks while recognizing and controlling fatigue-related hazards. The program combines core process safety principles with human factors and fatigue management, helping supervisors understand how operational conditions, workload, shift patterns, and human performance can influence safety outcomes.

The course explores the supervisor's role in hazard identification, risk assessment, operational discipline, safety communication, incident prevention, and emergency preparedness. Participants will also examine common causes of workplace fatigue, including extended shifts, insufficient recovery time, demanding work environments, and irregular schedules, and learn practical approaches to identifying fatigue risks within their teams.

Through industry-based scenarios and practical exercises, participants will develop strategies to improve team awareness, strengthen safety culture, manage fatigue-related risks, and support safer operational decision-making. The program is particularly relevant to safety-critical industries where human performance and process reliability are closely connected.
