Course Introduction

This program provides a practical understanding of subsurface production operations and the technologies used to maintain and optimize oil and gas well performance. It focuses on the relationship between reservoir behavior, well performance, production operations, and artificial lift systems.

Participants will explore the principles and applications of major artificial lift technologies, including Gas Lift, Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP), Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP), and other commonly used systems. The program also addresses artificial lift selection, operating parameters, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Through technical case studies and practical production scenarios, participants will develop the ability to identify production challenges, assess artificial lift performance, and support informed decisions aimed at improving well productivity, operational reliability, and overall production efficiency
